Spring Garden Symposium

It’s time to start thinking spring
gardens, landscaping and harvesting of crops! Hear garden experts talk each morning and
afternoon. Share your own gardening
stories while enjoying a glass of wine paired with a special luncheon based
on local fresh produce. The programs are at 10am-3pm at The Seamen’s Inne
Restaurant and Pub. Tickets are $100 for the series or $75 for individual

the annual May Day Bed Race. The Mystic Garland Dancers perform traditional
dances around the May Pole, and the Noank Community Band performs classic

Day

Visitors of all ages are invited to join the noontime
picnic on the green, which is followed by the 1 p.m. parade through the
village and patriotic ceremonies from the bandstand. Linger to hear a concert
presented by the Mystic Silver Cornet Band. Engage in a genteel game of
croquet in Mr. Thomas Greenman's side yard. Churn ice cream and reap the
delicious rewards! All Independence
Day celebrations and activities are included in Mystic Seaport admission.

way to celebrate the fall grape harvest in New England.
There are gourmet food vendors, local artists and craft vendors, grape

6pm on Saturday, continuing on Sunday with Village Jammers playing 12 to 3pm
and Sugar Daddy playing 3 to 6pm. Free pumpkin painting and hayrides for the
