Another great stay

My wife and I try and stay here after Christmas every year for a couple of days to get away and this hotel never disappoints. I think this was our fifth stay here. We absolutely love it here! First of all, the staff are always so pleasant, always saying hi and they really make you feel welcome. We usually stay in the Marie Gilbert room as it is our favorite. The views of the river and the drawbridge are amazing. The rooms are super comfortable and charming. We love using the fireplace. The hotel is super clean and the breakfast in the mornings are sooooooo good !! You get free parking and really you don't need a car once you are here. Its easily walkable to many shops and restaurants etc. We do miss the cookies and Sherry that they used to leave out :) . I think this is the best hotel in Mystic and for that matter the entire area. We live only a few towns over from here but still love coming here every year that we can.

Our favorite tradition

Sandra is a consummate manager with a high degree of knowledge and passion for her job and the team she leads. The gentleman who worked at the desk is friendly and welcoming, as well as the maintenance worker and the cook. We’ve stayed in the same room for the past 5 years (minus the pandemic), and it’s truly our family’s favorite tradition. If you’re looking for a friendly, family oriented place to stay, look no further.

STEAM BOAT INN IS THE BEST!!

The rooms are clean and the Inn is in the greatest location!!! You are in walking distance of all downtown mystic. The breakfasts were delicious and served with a smile. The people who work there are also very friendly and helpful. My husband and I came back here for our 20th Anniversary. They also have wine machines in the room!
We look forward to coming back. We have been here many times we are VIP's.

Charming and delightful

This is my second stay at this wonderful hotel but it won't be the last. I was in the Annie Wilcox room- a newly renovated, clean and bright room directly across from the dining room. The water views are terrific- from big boats to little skiffs, you can watch the boats come and go all day. The bascule bridge is visible and is always fun to watch open and close. Breakfast is included with your stay and you choose it in advance and pick your time. (And it's delicious). The king bed in my room was firm and comfortable. The toiletries in the bathroom are really nice and the shower looked brand new. I had two TVs in my room. Free parking with in and out privileges. And the location is unbeatable. You're in the heart of all the Mystic action,near shopping and restaurants in walking distance. I am a big fan of the Steamboat Inn!
